MELVIN L. SCOTT, age 70, died at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
MELVIN was born on May 2, 1939, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Onie and Mary Scott.
He was a roofer for Curran Roofing Company until 1983. He loved to shoot guns and enjoyed going to auctions, flea markets and gun shows.
Survivors include, two daughters, Lisa Fitzjarald and Leslie Fuller (Brian), both of Marion, Indiana; one sister, Eva May Carpenter; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 3 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. There will be no services.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Association or the American Diabetes Association.
