Michael R. Hancock, 51, died Saturday May 24, 2014 at ManorCare Anderson, Indiana due to injury sustained by being struck by an unlicensed drunk driver on October 28, 2013.
Michael was born February 9, 1963, in Marion Indiana the son of the late Robert C. Hancock and Emma (Scheffler) Hancock.
Michael was an employee at Carey Industries in Marion and attended Church of Christ. He enjoyed traveling and listening to the radio.
Survivors include brother, Kenneth Hancock of Elwood; two sisters, Stephanie (Thomas) Modglin of Daleville and Amy (Robert) Mason of Ft. Benning, Georgia; and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Williams.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. May 27, 2014 at Raven- Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Ind.
