Michalina Lynn (Farmer) Bailey, age 54, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at I.U. Health, La Porte, Indiana.
Michalina was born July 22, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Phyllis (Smart) Farmer and the late Ralph Farmer.
Michalina was a 1978 graduate of Oak Hill Sr. High School, and Indiana University of Indianapolis. She worked as an Information Technology Specialist at I.U. Health in La Porte, Indiana. Michalina was involved in the community with various organizations. She enjoyed doing crafts, bike riding, doll houses and playing golf.
Survivors include: husband, Steven Bailey of La Porte, Indiana; mother, Phyllis Farmer of Marion, Indiana; step-son, Jason Bailey of Monroe, N. Carolina; step-daughter, Cindy (Justin) Fowler of Monroe, N. Carolina; brother, Emerson (Laura) Farmer of Marion, Indiana; two sisters, Rebecca J. Parrott of Tampa, Florida and Joyce (Rob) McGee of Charlotte, N. Carolina; grandchildren, Brier Walters, Mason Fowler, and Jeremiah Bailey; niece, Tycene (Chris) Fritcher of Tampa, Florida; nephew, Troy Parrott of Tampa, Florida; niece, Brittany McGee of Charlotte, N. Carolina; niece, Heather McGee of Charlotte, N. Carolina; nephew, Emerson Allen Farmer of Marion, Indiana; nephew, Scott Lee Farmer of Marion, Indiana; great-nephew and great-niece, Nathaniel Hale Fritcher and Siena Madyson Fritcher; and aunts, Di and Mary of Marion, Indiana, and Kathy of Clinton, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Farmer; and brother, James W. Farmer.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2014, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with the Father Richard Weisenberger officiating.
Burial will be in Scioto Burial Park Cemetery, Portsmouth, Ohio on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
