NANCY J. BONHAM, age 78, died at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.
She was born on November 16, 1930, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul and Goldie (Swope) Harter. She was a 1948 graduate of Marion High School. On August 16, 1957, she married Forrest Eugene Bonham. Her husband of 48 years preceded her in death on June 1, 2006. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include son, Tom Bonham of Marion, Indiana; six daughters, Brenda Lewelling (Robert) of Knoxville, Tennessee; Linda S. Gist (John) of Lemoore, California; Pat Kearney (Don) of Marion, Indiana; Marla Velasquez (Michael) of Marion, Indiana; Linda J. Drielick of Warsaw, Indiana and Stephanie L. Cox (Kenneth Linton) of Warsaw, Indiana; sister, Lois Stimax of Upland, Indiana; 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by by two sons, John William Bonham and Michael G. Bonham; a grandson, John Minnick, sister, Linda Sue Beck and brother, William Harter.
Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating. Cremation will follow.
Burial will be at a later date in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
