Nancy Lee Walker, age 69, of Marion, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Florida.
Nancy was born on June 29, 1942, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Weston H. and Ruth (Wert) Carter. She married Robert Lee Walker, and he survives.
She was a member of the Marion Gardens Club and the Marion YMCA. She also volunteered at the Hostess House and Marion General Hospital. Nancy had many close friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved shopping and finding bargains.
Survivors include: husband, Robert Lee Walker of Marion, Indiana; daughter, Linda (Donald) Sheliga; son, Mark Walker; two granddaughters, Brandi & Kristi; and grandson, Coy Walker.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Weston H. and Ruth Carter, and a brother, David Carter.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana following funeral services.
