Nancy "Alice" Woodmansee, age 88, died at 7:55 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabiliation Center, Marion.
She was born on May 5, 1921, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Louis and Bertha (Fowler) Myer. She married William Eugene Woodmansee on June 28, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1991.
She was a member of First Friends Church. She was dedicated and devoted to the well-being of her family. She enjoyed playing cards at family gatherings.
Survivors include: three sons, Ron Woodmansee of Marion, Indiana; Rex Woodmansee (Valerie) of Converse, Indiana, and Randy Woodmansee of Scottsville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Tracy Tedesco (Frank), Troy Woodmansee (Angela), Tony Woodmansee (Amber), Eric Woodmansee (Briean), Rhonda Thomas (Joe), and Ashton Armfield; two step-grandchildren, Cathy Clay (Darren) and Steve Caudill; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three half brothers, Everett Draper, Carl Draper and Clarence Draper; and half sister, Lena Mae Draper.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2009, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Garra officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
