Nellie Frances Sheward

Nellie Frances "Fran" Sheward, age 76, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Colonial Oaks Healthcare, Marion, Indiana.
Nellie was born on September 7, 1936, in Fairmount, Indiana, the daughter of the late Wavy and Pauline (Hedden) Morris.
Nellie worked at Gripco in Montpelier, Indiana. She attended New Hope Baptist Church in Gas City. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Gas City and had so many good memories of the times she spent there with her many friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and pull tabs. Nellie truly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include: three sons, Gregory (Brenda) Hensley of Gas City, Indiana, Gerry Hensley of North Carolina, and Roger Sheward of Marion, Indiana; three daughters, Cynthia (Shelby) Neal of Marion, Indiana, Monica Justice of Huntington, Indiana, and Teresa Teeple of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sister, Anna Margaret (Bob) Lewis of Gas City, Indiana; sister, Shirley Cox of Gas City, Indiana; brother, Larry B. Morris of Lafayette, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Hewitt officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
Memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Services of Grant County, 305 S. Norton Street, Marion, Indiana 46952; or Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 705 S. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
