Nora Jane Grenier

NORA JANE GRENIER, age 77, died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Renown Regional Medical Center, Reno, Nevada.
She was born on November 7, 1932, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Earl and Sarah (Jeffers) Nelson.
She was a baker & cook at the the Marion VA Hospital for over 20 years.
She was a member of the Audobon Society; the Friends of Asherwood, and she rescued Scotty dogs and was a member of the Scotty Dog Club. She loved working with flowers and enjoyed crocheting and making afghans. She also prepared many wedding cakes for family, friends and co-workers.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald Grenier of Pendleton, Indiana; and Earl Grenier (Barbara) of Brandon, Florida; daughter, Cathy Yardley of Spring Creek, Nevada; brother, Burr Nelson (Becky) of Sweetser, Indiana, and sister, JoAnn Shaffer (Ron) of Marion, Indiana.
Graveside Services & Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion, Indiana with the Reverend Terry Bishir officiating. There will be no visitation.
