Norma Ilene Mccall

Norma Ilene Sanders McCall Kotsopodis, 89, of Zephyrhills, Fl, formerly Marion, IN, passed away on January 22, 2013, at the Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, in Zephyrhills, FL. She was born on August 21, 1925, in Converse, IN, to Henry Sanders and Ada Masters Sanders Vaughn.
As a teenager Norma worked at Butters Root Beer Garden and at the Paramount & Indiana Theatres. Norma and Ernie met while working at the theatres and were married for 52 years. Norma also worked at Delta Electric. They moved to Sanford, Maine in 1958 and then to Fenton, Michigan in 1960 where they lived until 1965 when they returned to Marion. Norma then worked at Butterworth Industries and retired from Servomation/Service America. Norma and Ernie retired to Tampa, Florida as snowbirds in November of 1990. Norma moved permanently to Zephyrhills, Florida in November of 2000. Norma was an avid collector of Christmas houses for her elaborate village of almost 200 houses. She enjoyed sharing them with family, friends & neighbors. Norma enjoyed crocheting people's names as a keepsake gift and also made many afghans and quilts that will continue to warm our hearts.
Norma is survived by her husband, Thomas Kotsopodis, whom she married on November 27, 2008 in Zephyrhills, FL; three children, a daughter, Lynn (Larry) Pushman of Lutz, FL, a son, Ryan (Kat) McCall, of Montpelier, IN, and a daughter, Ronda McCall, of Marion, IN; six grandchildren, Scott (Abby) McDaniel, of Staunton, VA, Jason (Monika) Thomas of Scotts Depot, WV, Brooke McCall, of Marion, IN, Jennifer McCall, of Boston, MA, Steve Dunica, of Winchester, IN, and Rick (Holly) Dunica, of Hartford City, IN; 12 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband of 52 years, Ernest McCall Jr., whom passed away June 3, 1999; and a brother, Dale Sanders.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, IN, with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Converse Cemetery in Converse, IN.
