NORMA LEE RECTOR-CHENOWETH, age 87, died on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis.
NORMA was born on September 25, 1922, in Winchester, Indiana. She married Elven C. Rector, who preceded her in death. She then married Howard Chenoweth, who also preceded her in death in 2004.
She was a Telephone Operator with Indiana Bell Telephone for 30 years.
Norma was a member of Christland United Methodist Church, The Telephone Pioneers Club, and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include, Granddaughter, Wendy Ulam (Steven) of Indianapolis, Indiana; Grandson, Tracy Pope (Jennifer), of Fishers, Indiana; Great Grandchildren, Alex & Mackenzie Pope of Fishers, Indiana; & Great Grandson, Ethan Ulam of Indianapolis, Indiana.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her Daughter, Connie Pope, and 14 Brothers & Sisters.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday May 18, 2010, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday May 18, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home , 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
