Patricia J. Fager, age 93, of Marion, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014, at Wesleyan Health Care Center, Marion, Indiana.
Pat was born August 5, 1921, the daughter of the late Chester and Katherine (Geng) Brandt. She married John Fager, and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1974.
She was a homemaker. Pat loved to play bridge and she earned a life master in duplicate bridge in 1994. She created ceramics for 20 years, and enjoyed sewing children's clothing and drapes. She also loved knitting and embroidery. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian, the Hostess House and the Portfolio Club. She was also past National Officer of Psi Iota XI, and past Queen of Job's Daughters.
Survivors include: son, Jay (Donna) Fager of LaGrange, Georgia; daughter, Sharon (Eddie) Winegardner of Marion, Indiana; grandchildren, Kathy Wright of Elkhart, Randy (Teresa) Wright of Winston Salem, N. Carolina, Angela (Mark) Robinson of Chester, New Jersey, Kevin (Rene) Fager of Waxhaw, N. Carolina, and Matthew Fager of Columbia, S. Carolina; great-grandchildren, Amy (Nick) Hancock, Ryan (Loren) Wright, Erika Fager, Camille James, Sarah Wright, Drew James, and Melissa, Eric and Brian Robinson; and great-great grandchildren, Christopher Hancock, Blakely Wright, Gracie Speaks, and Addison Wright.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Dee Fager on February 12, 1974.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Chaplain Don Miller officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Wednesday, October 15, in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
