Patricia A. Fulton

Patricia A. Fulton, age 85, passed away at 3:40 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2012, at home with her family at her side.

Patricia was born March 13, 1927, in North Manchester, Indiana, the daughter of the late Duane and Marjorie (Wilson) DeLancey. She was a graduate of North Manchester High School and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where she majored in music. She married William Fulton, the love of her life, on July 18, 1947. After 58 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on September 13, 2005.

Pat was a wonderful homemaker and the proud mother of three sons. Throughout her life, Pat enjoyed gardening, cooking, golfing, playing the piano and spending time with her family. She was skilled in the art of making miniatures. Her lighted doll house rooms, full of handmade details, were featured in newspaper publications and viewed by church groups, friends and the Historical Society.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she headed the prayer shawl knitting group, was a member of the Women's Circle, Speeders, and served as a Communion Minister. She was also a member of Tri Kappa and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include: three sons, Bill (Judy) Fulton of Muncie, Indiana, Kim (Judi) Fulton of Fishers, Indiana, and Scott (Susan) Fulton of Carlsbad, California; grandchildren, Holly-Fulton Osborn (Tom) of Georgetown, Kentucky, William Fulton III (Molly) of Muncie, Indiana, Shannon Pauwels (Jim) of McCordsville, Indiana, John Fulton of Cummings, Georgia, Heather Bowden (Mike) of Denver, Colorado, Noah Sweeney of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jordan Fulton of Ventura, California; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Sage, Jackson, Elise, Tysen, Ella, Will & Grady.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, John DeLancey.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Ream officiating.

Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, and one hour prior to services on Saturday, January 5, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 624 S. Adams Street, Marion, Indiana 46953; or to the Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46952.
