Patricia J. Miller, age 79, passed away Friday morning January 25, 2013, in her home.
Patricia was born on October 11, 1933, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Carl and Gertrude (Benn) Shipley. She married Chester "Donald" Miller, and he preceded her in death in 1986.
Patricia worked at RCA (Thompson Consumer Electronics) for more than 30 years, retiring on October 1, 1998. She was a member of the Sympathy Club at RCA. Patricia loved to refurbish furniture, and enjoyed feeding the birds, gardening, taking care of her puppies, and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include: three daughters, Pam Brown of Marion, Indiana, Penny Boyer (Michael F.) of Marion, Indiana, and Sylinda Dennison (Mark) of Elkhart, Indiana; three grandchildren, Dustin (Kasondra) Shaw, Kyle (Nadia) Boyer, and Selina (Todd) Bradley; two great-grandchildren Ella Shaw and Harris Boyer.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jay Shipley; and a sister, Sally McHenry.
Private Graveside Services & Burial will be held at Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana with Chaplain Henry Favorite officiating.
There will be no visitation.
