PATRICIA J. TAYLOR, age 75, of Marion, died at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, February 24, 2008, at Colonial Oaks Healthcare & Rehab Center, Marion.
PATRICIA was born on August 5, 1932, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter William & Laverne (Baker) Conrad. On February 14, 1954, she married Roy Linn Taylor. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1996.
PATRICIA worked at J.C. Penney for many years. She was also very talented with crafts. She owned her own silk flower business, "Flowers by Patrice" where she traveled to various craft shows and fairs. She was excellent in ceramics, even offereing classes at her home. She was a painter and loved to sew.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Marion, where she was very active in the Vacation Bible School, the Women's Auxiliary, the Adult Choir, The Shekinah Quartet, The Altar Guild and assisted with the Crafty Christians. She was also a member of The Sweet Adelines for a short time.
Survivors include Son, Michael Taylor (Kathy) and their daughter, Katelinn Taylor of Marion, Indiana; Son, Linn Brian Taylor of Nashville, Tennessee; Brothers, Robert Conrad (Lois) of Marion, Indiana and Phillip Conrad (Barbara) of Arizona.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Conrad and two brothers, John & William Conrad.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Pastor Mark Carlson officiating.
Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
