Patrick L. "Pat" Shellenbarger

Patrick Shellenbarger, age 56, passed away at his residence in Marion, May 8, 2024. He was born March 15, 1968, the son of the late Joseph and Carol (Southwick) Shellenbarger.

Pat worked at Weaver Popcorn in Van Buren. He was an avid pool player and played in the APA League here in Marion. He also enjoyed being outdoors playing a round of golf or disk golf. He also loved to go fishing, whether it was from the shore, wading out into the water, or in a boat.

Pat is survived by one son: Matthew Cannon of Jonesboro, one brother: Brian Shellenbarger of Muncie, one grandson: Colt Cannon, two cousins: Jerry Shellenbarger and Kristine Stoops, and good friends Sheila and Vicki Harris of Marion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life Laura Cannon.

The family will hold a Celebration of Pat’s life at a later date. Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
