Ralph E. Bennett

Ralph E. Bennett, age 87 of Marion passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville, Indiana.

Ralph was born on September 9, 1934 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Fred and Stella (Brunaski) Bennett.  He married Doris Elaine Cox on September 15, 1955 and she preceded him in death on August 13, 2001.

Ralph was a plumber and pipefitter at Howard Swanger & Liniger Company in Marion.  He was then elected business agent for the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union #166 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana until his retirement.  Ralph was a great father and a good provider for his family, and lovingly cared for his wife until her passing.

He is survived by a son, Steven (Patty) Bennett of Ft. Wayne; a daughter, Rhonda (Wayne) Louks of Noblesville; two sisters, Shirley Chambers and Pamala Couch, both of Fairmount; 4 grandchildren, Machelle Snyder, Marci Louks, Steven P. Bennett and Stephanie Ann Bennett; and 4 great-grandchildren, Tyson Bennett, Mason Bennett, Jackson Bennett and Peyton Snyder.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Bud” Bennett and a sister, Martha Sonda.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

At Ralph’s request, cremation will take place.  Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Jefferson Cemetery, Upland, Indiana.
