Raymond C. Randolph

RAYMOND C. RANDOLPH, of Marion, died at 10:20 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at Lafayette Home Hospital, Lafayette.

RAYMOND was born on January 2, 1914, in Stone Fort, Illinois, the son of the late James Randolph and Nora (Flora) Randolph. He married Violet Modglin in September 1939. She survives.

He was an Army veteran serving during WWII. He was a custodian at Fisher-Body for 16 1/2 years.

He was a member of the Lydia Baptist Church; the GM Sympathy Club and was a former member of the VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing & gardening.

Survivors include Wife, Violet (Modglin) Randolph of Marion, Indiana; Daughters, Carolyn Simpson of Cairo, Illinois and Joyce Scott (Jimmie) of Mulberry, Indiana; 4 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Koontz officiating.

Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.

Friends may call from 6 - 8 p.m.Wednesday, April 23 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
