REBECCA M. HOFFERBERT, age 85, died Friday, September 26, 2008, at her home in Marion.
REBECCA was born on May 21, 1923, in Grant County, Indiana, the daughter of Ulysses and Nora (McCann) Collins. On August 24, 1946, she married Norval J. Hofferbert. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1984.
She was a homemaker and Mother, who's life passion was her family. She was a member of the First Church Of The Nazarene in Marion.
Survivors include Daughters, Janet Elett and Wanda Weesner (David), both of Huntington, Grandchildren, Leann Fultz, Jessica Thurston, Christina Eakins and Asa Wayne Ellett, Great-Grandchildren, Joey Brandebury, Cody Brandebury, Sency Wallace, Tommy Wallace & Avery Thurston and Great-Great- Grandchild, Cayden Kauffman.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, 2 Sons, Danny J. & Norval D. Hofferbert, a grandson, Larry Bryan Fansler, 4 Brothers & 3 Sisters.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Osenbaugh officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday, September 29 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
