Rebecca S. Suter, age 69, of Anderson, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010, at Edgewater Woods in Anderson.
Rebecca was born on September 12, 1940, in Grant County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Harreld and Martha (Peterson) Hamaker. On February 1, 1959, she married Larry Suter, they celebrated their 51st Anniversary this past February.
Rebecca was a homemaker and enjoyed camping. She especially loved spoiling her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She dearly loved her "Peanut".
Survivors include, husband, Larry Suter of Anderson, Indiana; three daughters, Shelly Hubble (Warren) of Pendleton, Indiana, Kelly Carothers of Huntington, Indiana, and Sherry Ancil (Jeff) of McCordsville, Indiana; son, Jeff Suter (Kristen) of Anderson, Indiana; five brothers, Tom Hamaker of Muncie, Indiana, Tim Hamaker (Diane) of Carmel, Indiana, Jim Hamaker (Linda) of Warren, Indiana, Mike Hamaker of Marion, Indiana, and Mark Hamaker (Linda) of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Judy McDowell of Petroleum, Indiana, and Debra Ruth (Dennis) of Marion, Indiana; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Hamaker.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2010, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 10 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
