Richard L. Binnion, age 74 of Swayzee passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Marion Health, in Marion.
Richard was born on October 21, 1947 in Scottsville, Kentucky the son of the late Homer and Helen (Vinson) Binnion. He married Peggy Smith on April 25, 1994 and she preceded him in death on April 28, 2016.
He was a production worker at Dana Corporation for 25 years, and then was a millwright retiring after 20 years. Richard loved to ride his 2015 Harley Ultra, his 1979 1200 Harley Sportster and his Harley mini bike. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim (David) Macke, Kelly (Gary, Jr.) Hotsinpiller, Angela Smith, Regina (Jason) Breeden and Rachelle Binnion; a brother, Kenny Binnion; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Binnion; and brothers, Elvis, Darrell “Gene” and Benny Binnion.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee, Indiana.
