Richard L. Purvis

Richard L. Purvis, age 68 of Marion passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in his home.

Richard was born on March 25, 1953 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky the son of the late Clifford and Joy (Hatfield) Purvis.  He married his childhood sweetheart, Rose Marie Riley and they shared many years and memories together.  Rose preceded him in death on August 4, 2021.

Richard is survived by a son, John Purvis of Indianapolis; a brother, Jack (Thelma) Purvis; sister-in-law, Sue Purvis; and three nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Purvis.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time.
