Rikki L. (Dilts) Shane, age 31, of Marion, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at the home of her grandmother in Jonesboro.
Rikki was born on March 2, 1980, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Richard Dilts and the late Kelly Storey. She married Tim Shane on March 7, 2001 and he survives.
Rikki was a self-employed cosmetologist. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and swimming. Rikki most loved spending time with her children.
Survivors include: her Husband, Tim Shane of Marion, Indiana; Father and Step-Mother, Richard (Sherri) Dilts of Marion, Indiana; Step-Father, Edward Storey of Huntington, Indiana; Special Friend, Arthur Phillipe of Jonesboro, Indiana; Mother-in-Law, Marge Shane Schroll of Gas City, Indiana; Son, Evan; three daughters, Kaleigh, Trinity & Sydney; Sister, Rachel Dilts of Marion, Indiana; Brother, Ryan (Janelle) Dilts of Jonesboro, Indiana; Grandparents, William & Mary Dilts and Charles & Phyllis Smith, all of Jonesboro, Indiana; Great-Grandfather, William Hardacre of Upland, Indiana; two Brothers-in-law, Pat Shane, of California, and Mike Shane of Iowa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kelly Storey.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family sincerely requests that memorial contributions be made on behalf of Rikki's children, to a fund that will be established at the Charles Street Credit Union, 508 E. Charles Street, Marion, Indiana 46952.
