Robert L. Milford Ii

Robert L. “Rob” Milford II, age 65 of Marion passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at IU West Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Rob was born January 30, 1954 in Marion, Indiana to the late Robert Milford and Lila (Chenal) Milford.  He married Cherenita Torralba on December 13, 1996, and she survives.

He earned his bachelors degree at Indiana University in Bloomington.  Rob was an airline mechanic for United Airlines in Chicago for over 30 years.  He was a handyman and really loved helping his family and friends fix things.  Rob was passionate about scuba diving and had gone diving in the Philippines, California and Cancun, Mexico.  He was a nature lover and enjoyed feeding the birds on his deck.

He is survived by his mother, Lila (Chenal) Milford of Marion; his wife, Cherenita Milford of Indianapolis; step-son, Chad Ranoa of Indianapolis; two step-daughters, Frances Ranoa of Indianapolis and Stella (Marvin) Tee of Florida; brothers, Todd Milford of Somerville, Texas, and Paul (Debbie) Milford of Marion; sisters, Marguerite Ritchey of Silverthorne, Colorado, Lucia (David) Hale of Des Plaines, Illinois, Alice (Gary) Bisanz of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Esta (Ray) Seach of Fishers and Kari (Kyle) Persinger of Marion; and step-granddaughters, Keneisha Ranoa and Skyllar Tee.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jerry Milford.

Friends and family may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Mass Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Father Lawrence Abanobi officiating.
