Rodney Lee Haynes

Rodney Lee Haynes, 34 years old, was born June 30, 1976 to the union of Charles L. Jackson and Geraldine Moore. He passed away at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne. He accepted Christ at an early age at Pentecostals Church in Wabash, Indiana.

He was a full-time student at Ivy Tech, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was a member of the Sons of the Amvets. Rodney was a very outgoing man; he would go many places and never meet a stranger. He loved art and to dance and talk.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Geraldine Moore of Marion, Indiana; sisters, Patricia (Donald) Ross of Nashville, Tennessee, Sherl Moore, Pam Batchelor, Deidra Jackson and Shandell (Danny) Hodge, all of Marion, Indiana, Patricia (Ronnie) Scott and Charlene Jackson, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers, Ernest (Joann) Moore, Daren Haynes, David (Karen) Jackson, all of Marion, Indiana, Charles Jackson of Little Rock, Arkansas, Blake (Amanda) Sears of Elkhart, Indiana and Johnny Stewart of Michigan. He also leaves behind, Grandma Georgia Hensley Crum of Saint Augustine, Florida; a special sister, Alisha (Landrum) Anderson of Marion, Indiana; special friend, Tim Yeakle of Marion, Indiana; special dear friend, Jenny of Arizona; 19 nephews, 17 nieces, and many great nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Jackson, sister, Karen Spivey, brother, Charles "Tuffy" Jackson and grandfather, Noble Hensley.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
