Rose L. Crider, age 85, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.
Rose was born on June 10, 1930 in Huntington, Indiana to the late William and Emma (Gamble) Crider. She was active duty in the Navy for four years from 1952 to 1956 as a flight attendant and served during the Korean Conflict. She later worked production in a factory and in the bakery at Marsh Supermarket.
Rose was a member of the Etna Avenue Wesleyan Church in Huntington where she was actively involved and most enjoyed the Bible studies. She also loved doing ceramics.
Rose is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Vince.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
