RUTH E. KREBS, age 85, died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center, Marion.
RUTH was born on June 29, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois. She married Ernest F. Krebs, Jr. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafts, playing Euchre, working crossword puzzles and especially loved being a grandma.
Survivors include Husband, Dr. Ernest F. Krebs, Jr. of Marion, Indiana; Sons, Steven Krebs of Marion, Indiana and Ernest Krebs III (Judy) of Avon, Indiana; Daughter, Karen King (Rodney) of Marion, Indiana; Grandchildren, Matt Krebs, Jodi & Neely King and her special dog, "Max".
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Irene Merrill, Step-Father, Faye Merrill, Sister, Lois Rampage and Step-Sister, Lois Reagan.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2008, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1206 N. Miller Avenue, Marion with Pastor Mark Carlson officiating.
Entombment at Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana will be private for the family.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion and from 10:30 a.m. until services on Friday, October 3 at St. James Lutheran Church, 1206 N. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana.
