Sally A. Furnish "Meme", age 64, of Marion, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014.
Sally was born March 29, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of the late Richard Martin and Isabelle (Gause) Bobo. She married Virgil E. "Poppy" Furnish, and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2007.
Sally enjoyed shopping and talking with friends. She loved butterflies and dogs.
Survivors include: son, Scott Barrett of California; daughter, LeAnn Goodwin of Marion; aunt, Helen Wright of Marion; granddaughter, Courtney Pettiford of Marion; and grandsons, Tyler and Cody Furnish.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2014, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marion Grant County Humane Society, 505 S Miller Ave Marion, IN 46953.
