Sara "Louann" Keen

SARA "LOUANN" KEEN, age 59, died Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.
LouAnn was born on February 27, 1949, in Elwood, Indiana, the daughter of John P. Herniak and Lola & Barney Jones. She married Richard A. Keen on July 20, 1968.
She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1967 where she was a cheerleader. While at Fairmount High School, she also met her future husband at a ballgame between Marion and Fairmount. She was a secretary at Indiana Gas for 30 years. She was very devoted to her girls and grandchildren.
Survivors include Daughters, Shana Martz of Somerset, Indiana, Kelly Burns (James) and Brooke Robertson (Josh), both of Marion, Indiana; Brothers, Danny Herniak of Jonesboro, Indiana and Steve Herniak (Nancy) of Fairmount, Indiana; Sisters, Gina Logan (Tom) of Anderson, Indiana and Janna Richards (Ted) of Fairmount, Indiana; and Grandchildren, Blake Martz, Drew Robertson, and Brianna Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at Grace Community Church, 1810 E. Bradford Pike, Marion, with Reverend Dr. Thomas Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
