Sara L. Wagner, age 69, of Marion, passed away at 12:13 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Sara was born on June 9, 1942, in Nashville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Claude and Maude (Kemp) Worley. She married HR Wagner, and he survives.
She was a secretary at Marion General Hospital for 35 years, and a PRN for 7 years until her retirement.
Sara enjoyed reading, watching t.v., sewing, doing embroidery, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: her husband of 46 years, HR Wagner of Marion, Indiana; son, Michael Wagner; two daughters, Brenda (Lee) Hunt of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Michele Goodpaster of Gas City, Indiana; two brothers, William Lee (Laverne) Worley, and John Henry Worley; two sisters, Betty Lou Haney, and Cherry Mae (James) Flaughtery; four grandchildren, Chris (Amber) Baker, Sara (Drew) Mannix, David Baker, and Brett Goodpaster; three great-grandchildren, Cierra Baker, Kaydence Mannix and Chloe Baker; and several nieces & nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Claude Worley, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
