Scott Hollis Lawrence, a precious light that graced our world for a brief moment, was born on February 24, 2025, in Marion, Indiana. In just a fleeting heartbeat, Scott departed from this life on the very same day, taken to heaven by the Angels. His arrival and departure filled the lives of many with immeasurable love, although it leaves his family with deep sorrow.
Scott is survived by his beloved father, Brad Lawrence, and his caring mother, Holly Taylor. He will forever be cherished by his sister, Brianna Lawrence, and his brother, Tristan Fowler, who will carry his memory in their hearts. Scott was embraced by the loving arms of his maternal grandparents, Tony (Jennifer) Miller, and his paternal grandparents, Scott (Malissa) Timmons, who provided a warm family bond that he will always be a part of, even from beyond.
Scott's family circle also includes his dear aunt, Amanda (Khrys) Skeens, and uncles Rick (Becky) Taylor, John Bailey Jr., Trevor (Mary) Bailey, and John Lawrence, as well as several cousins who looked forward to creating lifelong memories with him. Each of them hold on tightly to the knowledge that they now have a little angel above who will watch over them.
Though his journey on Earth was brief, Scott's spirit touched the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. He is a sweet little angel now in the embrace of Jesus and the Angels, and in the depth of our sorrow we hold tightly to the hope that we will meet him once again in heaven.
Visitation services will be held in his honor on March 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lafontaine United Methodist Church, located at 2 W Kendall St, La Fontaine, IN 46940. A memorial service will follow at the same venue from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
In our hearts, we will cherish the beautiful moments that were yet to come. Scott Hollis Lawrence may have flown away too soon, but his light will forever shine brightly in our memories.
