Shannon Marie Beeks, age 33, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, in her home.
Shannon was born on July 13, 1979, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of John Atkins and Patty (Mills) Goff. Her parents survive. She married Albert L. Beeks Jr. on May 5, 2006, and he survives.
Shannon graduated from Rochester High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bingo, and taking care of her husband and children.
Survivors include: father and step-mother, John (Cindy) Atkins; mother, Patty (Mark) McGinnis and step-father, Gregg Goff; grandparents, Robert (Barbara) Atkins and Emma Circle; children, Samantha Lynn Justice and William Brady Justice; step-children, Alyssa Capri, Brooke Ashleigh (Eric) Barnes, Courtney Ann, Dylan (Leighann) Austin, and Chloe Madison; brother, Jim (Amanda) Atkins and their daughter Charlotte; step-brother, Chad (Amy) Armstrong; step-sister, Nikki Armstrong; seven aunts, Brenda, Beverly, Nadine, Freda, Debbie, Ruby, and Dottie; four uncles, Robert, Jack, Kevin, and Benny; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends Angie and Erin.
She was preceded in death by grandchild, Aaden Potter; grandparents, Bob and Annie McKinley, grandfather, Fred Mills, and aunt, Karen.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Entombment will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
