Shirley Ann Lee

June 30, 1935 — May 25, 2021

Shirley Ann Lee, age 85 of Fairmount, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.

Shirley was born on June 30, 1935 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana the daughter of the late James Edward and Elsie Pauline (Bonner) Pitt.  She married Dickie B. Lee on March 21, 1955, and he survives.

Shirley worked as a Line Inspector at RCA until her retirement.  After retirement she loved to vacation at their winter home in Florida.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Fairmount for more than 60 years.  Shirley loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dickie Lee of Fairmount; a son, James E. Lee of Fairmount; a daughter, Tamera (Keith) Allen of Summitville; 2 grandchildren, Jamie Diane Bowman and Nicholas William Allen; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven Pitt.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana with Chaplain Randy Thornburg officiating.

The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for all of the care given to our Mother, and a special thank you to Tabatha Ploger.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 1385 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46952.
