Steven R. Osborne

Steven R. Osborne, age 70, of Marion passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 in his home.

Steven was born January 26, 1949 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Harry Osborne, Jr. and Betty (Harvey) Osborne.  He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict.  After his military service he worked as a medical lab technician at Marion General Hospital until his retirement.

He enjoyed laughing and cutting up with his friends at Waylon’s; and was in their video bowling and shuffleboard leagues.

Steven is survived by a daughter, Patricia Osborne of Indianapolis; step-daughters, Tonia (Jim) Wainscott of Anderson and Michelle (Shannon) Jones of Lexington, Kentucky; a brother, William (Sue) Osborne of Ft. Wayne; and 3 grandchildren, Kendall Curry, Abby Wainscott and Ashlynn Wainscott.

Friends and family may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Graveside Services and burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
