Sue Anne Grose

Sue Anne (Plummer) Grose, age 71, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.
Sue was born on October 23, 1941, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Eugene and Betty Plummer. She married Jack D. Grose on March 21, 1959, and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2010.
She was a graduate of Marion High School and Lutheran College in Ft. Wayne. She retired from the Marion Veteran's Administration. She also worked in home health after receiving her RN degree. She enjoyed shopping, spending time on her computer, going for long rides and "Girls Nights" with her friends.
Survivors include: daughter, Trina Winegardner of Marion, Indiana; son, Jack Grose of Greenfield, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Lesa Grose of Anderson, Indiana; sister, Patricia Turner of Carmel, Indiana; two brothers, Larry (Trudy) Plummer of Marion, Indiana, and Jim Plummer of Marion, Indiana; grandson, Michael (Elise) Winegardner and great-grandson, Braidan Winegardener, all of Tallahassee, Florida. Sue had special friends, Sherie Berry, Marcie Beckman, Leslie Deason, and Jean Loftin-Herrick.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private burial will occur at a later date at Marion National Cemetery where she will join her husband, the love of her life.
A Celebration of Sue's life will take place at the Roseburg Event Center on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to come and share a laugh or story.
Memorials may be made to the Indiana Patriot Guard Riders, 2207 Versailles Drive, Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
