Susan A. Bowman

Susan A. Bowman, age 86 of Marion passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Marion Health in Marion, Indiana.

Susan was born on December 16, 1935 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Luckenbill) Boswell.  She married Larry Bowman on July 28, 1956, and he survives.  Susan was the office manager at Marion Chiropractic until her retirement in 2000.  After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at Marion General Hospital in the gift shop.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Bowman of Marion; two sons, Douglas Edward (Jennifer) Bowman of Black Mountain, N. Carolina and Kevin Eugene Bowman of Gas City; a daughter, Karen Christine (Scott) Lawson of Marion; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Chikos.

Visitation for friends and family will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at Noon with Reverend Andrew Bowman officiating.  Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
