Thelma L. (Fowerbaugh) Resler

Thelma L. (Fowerbaugh) Resler, age 100, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Miller's Merry Manor, Marion, Indiana.
Mrs. Resler was born on November 9, 1911, in Huntington County, Polk Township, Indiana, the daughter of the late Albert and Artesla (Hyatt) Fowerbaugh.
She was a member of Sunnycrest United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Thelma was also an accomplished pianist, loved gardening, flowers and enjoyed bird watching.
Survivors include: daughter, Lois Resler of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister, Dorotha Miller of Warsaw, Indiana; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester S. Resler; sons, Paul R. Resler and A.E. "Gene" Resler; daughters, Norma F. Shafer and Carole A. Watrous; brother, Clarence Fowerbaugh; and sister, Elva Strouse.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Charles Ternnet officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Etna Cemetery, Mt. Etna, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012, and from 10:00 a.m. until services on Thursday, June 21, 2012, in the funeral home.
