Violet R. Randolph, age 92, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Violet was born July 13, 1921, in Pulaski County, Illinois, the daughter of the late Roy and Jenny (Davis) Modglin. She married Raymond C. Randolph in September 1939, and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2008. Violet was a homemaker, and loved gardening and cooking.
Survivors include: two daughters, Joyce (Jimmie) Scott of Mulberry, Indiana, and Carolyn Simpson of Cairo, Illinois; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 1 sister, and 4 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Larry Baughman officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
