Walter Lee Scott, age 73, passed away at 3:19 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Walter was born February 7, 1938 in Batesville, Arkansas, son of the late Jewell Scott and Vada (Weeks) Scott. He was an Army veteran, and worked at GenCorp until his retirement.
He enjoyed playing and listening to music, wood-working, playing chess, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Scott; son, Jason (Tina) Scott; two daughters, Traci Scott, and Shari (Dean) Snapp; brother, Jay (Virginia) Scott; three sisters, Clairene (Dean) Scott, Rosilee (Glen) King, and Nellie (Wayne) West; three grandchildren, Bree Scott, Michelle Snapp, and Tony Snapp; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral services.
