Wilberta A. "Billie" Gipson

Wilberta A. "Billie" Gipson, age 76, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.
Billie was born on April 13, 1934, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late William and Alberta (McPhilliamy) Paulus. On April 17, 1955, she married Philip Gipson. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2010.
She was a Clerk at the Grant County Treasurers Office for 25 years, retiring in 1996.
Billie attended Grace Community Church, was a 50 year member of the Mississinewa Chapter No. 94 Order of The Eastern Star and a member of the Firemans Auxillary. Billie loved spending time with her family, but especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include: two daughters, Ellen Chenoweth (Brad) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Sheri Williams of Marion, Indiana; three grandchildren, Ryan M. Chenoweth (Steph), Eric M. Chenoweth, and Shay Williams; and a great-grandson, Chase Chenoweth.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m., Monday, January 3 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
