William D. “Bill” Horn, age 58 of Marion passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in his home.
Bill was born March 24, 1963 in Marion, Indiana the son of Michael D. Horn and Janice May (Walker) Brown.
He was an Army Veteran serving as a Corporal. He then worked at the Shirt Shed in Wabash. Bill was a kind and good-hearted man and was an avid coin collector. He had a beautiful voice and sang for the local band U.S. Steele. A gentle soul, he loved deeply and always said “I love you” before he left. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and watching professional soccer especially Liverpool Soccer of England.
He is survived by his father, Michael Horn of South Carolina; his mother Janice May Brown of Marion; a son, P.J. Horn of Marion; a daughter, Melissa Kay Horn of Iowa; a brother, Phillip D. Horn of Marion; a sister, Penny M. Leffingwell of Marion; one grandchild; his fiancé Rustina Costner of Marion; and his lifelong friend, Rhonda Frazier.
There will be no visitation or funeral services and cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
