Alice R. Bratcher-Dollinger

Alice R. Bratcher-Dollinger, age 80, of Marion, passed away Tuesday morning, January 2, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family.

Alice was born on April 22, 1943, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Raymond and Alice Pauline (Thomas) Bratcher.   Alice married Myron “Spider” Dollinger on June 22, 1990, and he survives.

She worked in production at Utec in Huntington until her retirement in 2006.  She was a former member of the Marion Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge I.E.W. 983.  Alice enjoyed sewing and gardening, and loved traveling, especially going on cruises.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her son, Timothy Henderson of Marion; two daughters, Melissa (Jeff) Bartel and Alice (Melitt) Henderson, both of Marion; brothers, Otis Glass of Scottsville, Kentucky, Bobby Joe Glass of Richardsville, Kentucky, and James Miller of Bowling Green, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Bartel II, Alice Henderson, Jason Pauley and Nicole Bevitori; great-grandchildren, Aidan Bartel, Hunter Eaton, Isabela Pauley, Luca Bevitori, Jude Pauley, Karlee Pauley, and Lena Bevitori; special nephew, Wayne (Dawn) Guess of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Rochella Miller Glenn, Rosa Bratcher, and Lula Mae Battenfeld.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Bill Thompson officiating.

Burial will immediately follow funeral services in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion (Huntington County), Indiana.
